Record Breaking Success for SES at POSIDONIA 2008
SES-SHIPMANAGEMENT EXPERT SYSTEMS S.A. has logged a tremendous success record for nearly a quarter of a century of participation at the international shipping exhibition POSIDONIA. However, this year’s POSIDONIA 2008 proved to be a tremendous success. The presentation of the newly released Version 5.5 of its innovative software Smart™ RADICAL INNOVATION caused tremendous enthusiasm among ship owners and shipping executives who visited the stand in order to be updated on this great product line that has stormed the global shipping community and has become the standard of reference in maritime software. The Smart™ line of products covering Marine Accounting & Financials, Technical-Purchasing-Inventory-Cost Control, Operations-Commercial and Crew Management applications represent the pinnacle of shipping software and are trusted by hundreds of maritime enterprises the world over. Together with the long established and trusted full suite of SES-Office and SES-Vessel applications, SES has re-affirmed its global leadership as the premier provider of complete and integrated shipping software to the international maritime community. A significant number of ship owners and maritime executives visited the stand of SES and major shipping companies have concluded agreements for implementing SES applications in their offices and on-board the vessels. Of course, as expected, the vast majority of these new clients opted for the Smart™ line of products since they found them to be years ahead of competitive products and at much lower prices.
